Do we, as Landscape Architects, have a role in building sustainable futures outside of the cities? The recent AILA regional survey shows that we clearly believe we do, but our leadership approaches are as diverse as the landscapes we practice in. Being a regional Landscape Architect can be professionally isolated, challenging and immensely rewarding all at the same time. We’re all learning to adapt and finding new ways to build resilience.
We hope you’ll join the discussion, come and learn from others, share your thoughts and build new connections. Felix Hemingway (Manager, Strategic Projects & Urban Design, City of Greater Geelong) will chair the breakfast discussion, guiding us through;
- Results of the regional survey and where to from here
- Our role as Landscape Architects in the management of land, particularly in Australia
