Amy Grey

Amy works as a Landscape Architect at Meter Design in Brisbane, and in her spare time is involved with a range of urban activation and placemaking projects as the founder of Vibrant Places and co-founder of the U.R{BNE} Collective. Her work reflects a passion for her community and for public spaces. This work includes Diner en Blanc Brisbane, Containval (now Eat Street Markets), Games Night @ King George Square, Brisbane PARK(ing) Day Coordination and activations in Burnett Lane, Spencer Lane, Albert Street and Queens Wharf in Brisbane. Amy has also been involved in the design of Southport Broadwater Parklands, various spaces at the Brisbane Airport, Masterplans in Indonesia and gardens at hospitals in Papua New Guinea. This passion has been recognised in various awards, and in 2012 she was given the title of the Queensland Emerging Design Leader of the Year. She has also worked in Colorado, USA, and calls Fort Collins her "second home".
